Five Months!

My baby is 5 months old, I seriously cannot believe it. Blake is such a sweet baby and just goes with the flow. We love our baby Blake so much!

1. At 4 1/2 months Blake weighed in at 14.14. He is in the 25th percentile. 
2. He loves his taggy and will fall asleep with it in the car. He usually thinks it is nap time in the car, and I am totally okay with that!
3. He thinks he is a big boy and loves standing. 
4. He is trying to crawl, he will get his knees up under him and push off, he hasn't figured out his arms yet, thank goodness I don't want him crawling just yet,
5. Blake has decided that his momma should hold him every time he is sleeping, naps, bedtime, you name it, he thinks I need to hold him. 
6. Blakes loves to talk and sound like a pterodactyl. At church I have had to take him out because he is being a little to distracting.
7. Blake loves his Molly dog, he thinks she is pretty funny when she licks his feet.
8. Blake still loves to suck on his hand, sometimes he gets his thumb but not very often. Blake still hates his binky, its not very much fun being the binky sometimes.

Jumparoo

We bought Blake a jumparoo, he loves it! I love it because momma can sit down every once in awhile without bouncing a cute little baby. I swear this is an exersaucer on steroids, Blake's feet don't really touch unless he is on his tippy toes so instead he tucks his feet up and will wiggle his body and it starts bouncing away. 

Sandy Point

We went up to Sandy Point with just the girls and kiddos, all the dads were working. We had such a fun time and the kids did too. I am pretty sure none of them wanted to leave except for maybe Benson and Blake.

Four Months

 He loves his taggy.

 He is starting to pay more attention to Molly. 

 Molly loves Blake, I have a feeling they will be best friends and trouble makers :)

My sweet boy  is four months. I cant believe it. We go on Monday to the doctors, I am excited to know how much he weighs, but not so excited for his shots, poor guy. 

1. Blake is still in size 1-2 diapers. Still  in some 0-3 months but mostly 3 months. 

2. He sleeps in his car seat! For the most part he will fall asleep in the car, which is awesome! 

3. He loves this blue blanket he got from my Aunt, it is minky dot on one side and he loves sucking and chewing on it. 

4. He smiles and giggles even more, and he really enjoys hearing himself talk. He is getting really loud. 

5. Lately, he has started to squeal instead of crying. Silly boy. 

6. He is still my little cuddle bug and just prefers being held. He is slightly a momma's boy:) 

Swimming

We went swimming at one of my moms good friends house one night. I can't even tell you how excited I am that Blake loves the water! He could stay in it all day long. His swim diaper is just a little too big, he is super chunky but is still my little guy!

Just a side note.. I am not a big fan of coming up with titles so just bare with my lame titles. 

Exersaucer!

We put Blake in the exersaucer for the first time when he was 3 1/2 months. he thought it was great for about 15 minutes. His little toes just barely touched :) 

Fourth of July

The fourth of July is a big day in the Patterson house. It is Brian's favorite holiday by far. We had a great day, we just hung out with family and had a bbq, and watched fireworks. I am so beyond grateful to the men and women who serve our country. Especially my soldier. Brian has served one tour in Afghanistan and we flew the flag he got from Afghanistan on the Fourth. I am so proud of him and thankful for his service!! 

 Blake thought the glow in the dark bracelet was fantastic!
